April’s Take It Like A Man/Woman Workout

We have hit our second quarter of the year here in April and we are moving closer to the Summer, beaches & bathing suits. Let’s keep up the momentum as we kick off Spring with a Take It Like A Man/Woman workout.

As usual we will base this workout on 5X Fitness program. That is 5 movements, each performed for 30 seconds with 20-30 between each movement. When you complete 5 rounds you have completed the workout.

I realize that newcomers will need to rest between each movement but try to keep it down to 20-30 seconds if you can.

You can take 30 seconds to 2 minutes rest in between each round if needed.

spring_fitness_groundhogThe weather should be getting better so take this workout outside if you can. It will do you great to be outdoors getting some fresh sunlight & air. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water and use sunscreen.

April’s Take It Like A Man/Woman Workout:

Perform each exercise 30 seconds with 20-30 seconds rest between movements. If you need to rest 20-30 seconds between each move that is okay.

1- Dumbbell or kettlebell deadlift
2- Pushups
3- Dumbbell or kettlebell thrusters
4- Burpee
5- Bodyweight Squats

This is not as easy as it looks. You will be challenged no matter what your level of fitness is. Follow this routine Mon-Wed-Fri & perform any type of cardio that you would like on even days. Also don’t forget to get healthy recipes from out sister site Fat Blaster KitchenFat Blaster Kitchen.
